Search engine results show only junk/spam ads? Why?
ok everytime i go onto google and type in something in the search bar the search results always show nothing but junk websites and stuff. i’ll type in a topic and stuff for airline tickets or ebay shows up. i dont mean the sponsored ads its actually where the search results would be displayed. I don’t think its the virus that takes me to another site because that works fine. I’ve tried deleting cookies and other stuff but keeps happening. I ran the malwarebytes thing and nothing came up, and installed the norton security and it found no threats. if anyone can help with this i’d appreciate it very much. its driving me insane.
P.S. for some reason this only happens when i use firefox and google chrome, but not internet explorer
i know google displays ads for travel, shopping and other stuff at the top and sides. but the junk ads im talking about are for malware and antivirus and other weird stuff shows where the normal search results links would be. its doesn’t look how it would normally look. this only happens though when i use any other web browser than internet explorer i wanna know why? whats the problem and how can i fix it?

Tsunami’s of money hungry advertising schemes are making browse sessions unbearable. Don’t let these parasites into your system in the first place! Proactive defensive measures help stop these guys on your doorstep and keep ‘em out. The following tips help, but methods (vectors) constantly change.*

FIREFOX: Tools> Options> Privacy: Check ‘Accept Cookies from sites’
& Un-Check ‘Accept 3rd Party cookies’
With these add-on’s:
???"NoScript" for Firefox will stop a lot of this adware/spyware & hijackers; and is THE single most important thing you can do to prevent most script based malware???

With "NS" running, down on the far right corner is a blue ‘S’ with a red line through it: right click that> tick ‘forbid (whatever)’ &/or mark as ‘untrusted’.
(Ticking all may reduce interactive behavior; enable just enough to get what’s necessary to view the page, on a ‘temporarily allow’ basis)
Flashblock: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/433
Adblock Plus works pretty good too: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865 (make sure to utilize the ‘Subscriptions’ from ABP ‘Preferences’ tab)
*Fresh exploit: "Super Cookie" threat (or Persistent 3rd party cookie); https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6623
Search engines default settings utilize ‘targeted advertising’ and require "Opt Out" on EVERY browser on EVERY machine.

because you dont pay to use google yet they have to make money. They would get most of their money by add’s as there would be millions of people visiting the website everyday add’s would be worth a lot, and they also get money by charging $100 i think to put your internet site on google.
